Short and plain: what the waitlist collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Your email.
  • A wallet address, if you add one.
  • A referral code: yours, and the one in the link you used, if any.
  • Your country, worked out from your IP address. We don't store the IP address itself.
  • Campaign tags from the link you used.
  • When you agreed to get updates, and the exact line you agreed to.

What stays in your browser

One small cookie (cp_attr) keeps the referral code and campaign tags from the link you arrived on for 30 days, so they're saved if you sign up. If you turn down motion on an iPhone, your browser notes that until you close the tab, so we don't ask again. Page statistics use no cookies.

Why

To run the waitlist and tell you when CardPot launches. Anonymous page statistics show us which parts of the page work.

Who handles it

The CardPot team and our service providers: Vercel (hosting and anonymous page statistics), Cloudflare (where the list is stored), and Resend if we send emails. We don't sell it.

Keeping out spam

To stop floods of fake signups, we keep a one-way code made from your IP address for up to two days. It can't be turned back into the address.

How long

Until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices
